- supplier management: ji-haw has always regarded suppliers as close partners and consider them as the backbone of the company. only by working with suppliers are we able to achieve mutually beneficial results. by actively incorporating our suppliers into our system and culture, we promote long-term beneficial relationships. we require out suppliers sign the following documents to uphold credibility and integrity:
- supplier social responsibility confirmation
- environmental protection agreement. guidelines regarding hazardous substance control requirements and standards, rohs, reach, and other environmental protection standards, and agreement to prevent hazardous substances from entering ji-haw's production chain are clearly set.
- declaration of non-use of hazardous materials, declaration of non-use of halogen-containing materials, commitment to use of conflict-free minerals etc. ji-haw has been cooperating with major customers around the world to promote the implementation of such regulations since 1989. starting from our own production, we have worked towards eliminating harmful substances from entering our system and to protect the global environment.
- reducing greenhouse emissions:ji-haw cooperates with customers towards local production and to establish strong production bases. through vertical integration and horizontal development, our carbon footprint is drastically released by reducing the transportation distance of raw materials and products. the company has also introduced led lighting facilities in its main production base in kunshan. starting from the construction of basic hardware, ji-haw has drastically replaced high energy-consuming mercury lamps, which not only saves energy but also eliminates the use of polluting mercury. the company encourages employees to use electric cars and provides free charging stations in car parks to incentivize their use.
- the risks of climate change: ji-haw pays close attention to global climate change trends and the international response. the company recognizes climate change as a major risk factor and factors it into its sustainable development strategy. we continue to analyze and draw up climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, promote the reduction of carbon emissions and energy use, as well as comply with government environmental regulations, customer requirements, and other related regulations.

in order to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, the jh-csr team was established, led by chairman, mr. lin wenhuang, who directs the team’s direction. general manager mr. wu jiaxin is appointed as the deputy team leader, responsible for supervising the progression on each topic. each department head is also a team member, directly participating operations and confirming knowledge and understanding of the company by customers and suppliers. the team regularly reviews and reports on the implementation status of the progression of each topic.
